Elliot Craven will lead the 1st XV and is kindly sponsored by ETH Fitness.
Elliott:
"I've been at the club since I was 12 so, to be asked to captain the first team was definitely a proud moment. I am also excited as I know the talent we have throughout the squad this season.
I'll try to lead from the front and by example but also lean on the experience and other leaders we have throughout the squad. We've some great plans on and off the pitch throughout the season and that's already started with a very good start to preseason. Can't waiting to get going on the 2nd of September."
Harry Wardman and George Ayrton will lead the 2nd XV and are kindly sponsored by P&W Plumbing & Tiling and Heatworks.
George:
"It's a privilege to be asked to be part of the leadership group this year. I've been part of the seconds for about 8 years. To lead the boys out on a Saturday will be class.
We want to create a proper team environment on and off the pitch. Encourage sexy, exciting rugby, what twos rugby should be!
Looking forward to new and old boys getting stuck in, it looks like it could be the perfect blend of youth and experience. Needless to say.... I'm excited for the socials off the pitch!"
Harry:
"Being named team captain is quite the honour. The position of captain is given to those whom the rest of the team respect and trust to lead the team in the right direction, and I'll give my best to do just that.
I'm looking forward to the start of the season and lining up with the boys who I've played with for years. Those young lads coming through the ages and them boys who have probably played at Brods longer than I've been out of nappies!".
Congratulations fellas and good luck!
